Every Which Way plays with the idea of direction. The visual motifs, musical lines, and instrumentation reflect different directions with each movement.

2. Slow Down: An adaptation from DvoÅ™ák's Cello Concerto featuring the low instruments
3. Oblique: A quirky percussion feature based on the chord changes to "Giant Steps"
4. Up and Away: An exuberant ending featuring the high woodwinds and trumpets
